Researcher in Mathematics - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Position description: The aim of the recruitment is joint research within the project ´Structural properties of solutions to partial differential equations´ with researchers working in the group of the department in Sundsvall. More precisely we look for a researcher who strengthens the existing research directions, in the first place integrable systems in mathematical physics with an emphasis on construction of solutions, their asymptotic analysis and suitable mathematical tools like ISM, and in the second place geometric complex analysis (Stein theory, CR manifolds). Further tasks are work at publications and presentation of research and methods.

Qualification requirements and assessment grounds: A person is qualified for the announced position if he or she has completed a doctorate or has corresponding academic qualifications.

Experience in research and expertise in the research areas relevant for the position are considered as assets. Particular merits are publications in recognized international journals, contributions to conferences, scientific awards and competitive external funding.

Scientific competence and research skills are of central importance for the position, but also the ability to work together. In addition, the applicant should have a good ability to communicate in Swedish or English.

Employment and start date: Temporary position with 100% of full time for 6 months, with starting date 1 November 2021 or as otherwise agreed.

Salary: Individual negotioated salary
