The research of the department is conducted at the research centre STC (Sensible Things that Communicate, www.miun.se/stc).

Position description
The STC research centre (Sensible Things that Communicate, www.miun.se/stc) announces an open postdoctoral position in power electronics working on kW converter applications. The research will be conducted in collaboration with industrial partners integrating research results in customer applications. You will actively collaborate with researchers in the power electronics groups, but also with other researchers in the department.

The research project gives you the opportunity to work with modern semiconductors and transformers in the development of DC/DC converters, accepting wide voltage ranges and resolve many application-specific challenges. Challenges that the position may focus on include power density optimization, control and EMI for power converters in the kw range. In the postdoc position, you will work to develop, optimize, and characterize power electronic converters.
