The Department of Health Sciences is situated at Campus Sundsvall and Campus Östersund. It offers courses, programmes and research in the fields of Public Health Science, Sports Science and Rehabilitation Science.

Do you like sport? Would you like to spend 10 months on a World Championships arena in one of the most beautiful villages in Sweden?
The EU project "Centre of Health Innovation - Home of Internet of Sports" is looking for a new team member. The project is owned by the Swedish Winter Sports Research Centre at Mid Sweden University.

The project works with three national teams and several companies within IoT / IoS. We are innovative and gladly do what has not been done, "breaking boundaries" is a daily thought with us. Our work pace is high, spring 2019 will be intense.

Our project office is located alongside Ski Team Sweden inside the national alpine arena in the beautiful village of Åre.

Job description
We are immediately looking for a qualified full-stack developer who will develop apps for applications for inline, skiing, public health, tourism and athletics. Everything is driven by demand from target markets. You will also be supportive of students. We mainly work over Skype and online.

Working language is English, which you should master fluently.

Qualifications
You should be able to present a portfolio containing work samples and/or work performed and examples of communication between different units/databases. Merit is academic education in the field.

You should be used to working with both Android and/or iOS, have knowledge of Java, Android Studio and/or Swift. You should also be accustomed to working towards set goals and deadlines. 

As an individual, you are able to work independently, have good work ethic, drive and have good communicative ability. You should also be interested in new products and ideas that help the development forward.

Position details: Temporary employment, 100%, March - December 2019. Start date by agreement.

Place of position: Östersund, your workplace will be at the project office in Åre.

Salary: Individual salary is applied.
