It is important that applicants are able to work independently and in groups, as well as in controlled lab environments and in the field. Earlier postdoc activities in diving medicine and the physiology of marine mammals are a merit, as well as good knowledge of technical measurement methods above and below the water surface. In addition to formal eligibility requirements, selection will be based on the quality of the doctoral thesis, publications, reviews, practical experience of research work and interviews with applicants. Personal qualities such as good ability to work independently and in groups, ability to communicate, take initiative, analytical ability and other aptitudes will also be important in the assessment. The applicant should be able to relocate to Östersund. In addition to CV with dissertation and publication list, a brief description of the applicant's background, interests and visions, as well as the reason for the application must be attached.
Employment and starting date: The employment position concerns a two-year, full-time position of 100 percent working hours, with the possibility to extend. Certain teaching or administrative work may occur and the employment period will be extended to the same extent. The work will be conducted both in the lab and in the field in different countries.
